Have we got a deal for you! If all you want to do is dive, we will be offering up to 22 dives per week! This will include night dives, deep dives, photo dives, wreck dives, cave dives, wall dives, fun dives, and dives you have never heard of yet! We have two compressors to speed up the filling of dive tanks, a custom nitrox fill system, re-breathers and enough gear to suit up 60 divers with 120 tanks. You can dive as a group, pair off and dive on your own, use one of our kayaks or other unique water toys to get to the site you would like, or use our R O V to seek out a target before you enter the water. This ROV is the famous "Sea Otter". It sends the signal from its wide-angle camera to an onboard monitor that is hooked up to a VCR and a GPS. You can pinpoint the location should you find sunken treasure or a dive site you would like to visit later. You can also have someone video tape all or some of your dives throughout the week. Combine this underwater video with a video of you onboard the Island and you have something unique to take back home with you to show your family and friends. (We have video editing equipment) If you and your dive buddy want to move faster under the water you can rent our MAXX Stealth Underwater Scooters. They propel you at 3 mph for up to 80 minutes then the battery requires charging. These unique units also have a user adjustable buoyancy control. For something really different (Using new underwater wireless technology) you can communicate with Kastaway Island or your dive buddy with a scuba phone unit. This unit uses digital signal processing for high quality sound and real speakers for natural sounding voices. For our own diver safety our Island will offer a recompression chamber. Due to some of the remote areas we will be diving in, we thought it would be a great way to invest in the ultimate safety of our guests. Please do not take unnecessary chances, we want to party with you for the next 9 years. Our onboard medical staff have training in all dive related injuries and there is a three bed hospital onboard. Kastaway Island has a specialist dive shop offering "tax free" prices on a wide range of products from masks and underwater stealth scooters to the latest in dive computers and underwater video and camera equipment. The video equipment as well as the underwater cameras is for rent as well as for sale. We have E – 6 one hour film processing on the island plus a darkroom and excellent video editing equipment.
