1. "How can I view this as just an investment?"
It is your choice what you do with your week(s). By your choice we mean that your week could be used solely for investment charter income or for holiday time or for both. Because you own the week(s) on our Island, you can sell that week to whomever you want for whatever amount you want. You can offer it to your travel agent to sell for you. You can accept the money or use your week, year after year. Your Travel Agent will want a commission for this service. That's how you can view this as just an investment. Some people have considered purchasing three weeks, two for their holiday time and one for a return on the investment.

2. "I'm a Bottom Line kind of person...what is this going to cost me?"
You can purchase from one 10 - week package to ten - ten week packages. On this offer we will sell 200 weeks for more than 50 percent off the regular price of a luxury cruise holiday onboard our yacht. That is right, it is a combination of your money with 200 other pre paid vacation owners that will allow us to purchase this vessel. Now you know why you are getting such a good deal! This pre paid vacation package allows you a total of ten weeks over a maximum period of ten years.That's it! . Again, you only pay this once! There are additional bonuses for the first 10 members and you can check it out on the page under "What do I get if I am one of the first to sign up?"

The average price of a 6 night 7 day cruise is $2,000.00 US. The yellow boxes above is your week every year. This week is worth approx. $2,000 US for each year or a value of $20,000 US, for the 10 year cruise. It is being offered to you for $8,900.00 US per couple not per person . This works out to ONLY $370.00 per week per person.

3. "What is the catch? Any hidden Charges?"
There is no catch! You never pay this fee again unless you want to purchase another week for you or someone else, (as stated above). As a pre paid vacation package owner you are responsible for an annual maintenance fee of $150.00 US dollars. This is guaranteed not to increase for the first three years. The newsletter is free. You pay your airfare to and from the nearest airport to where the Island is located plus anything you would like to rent or purchase while a guest on our Island. The rest is on us.

4. "What is this annual fee going to be used for?"
The annual upkeep fee must be adequately budgeted to preserve the island. This fee is established each year by the Management Company and it is agreed that for the first three years this fee will not increase. An adequate annual upkeep fee is necessary to maintain and preserve the ultimate value of your vacation investment. The upkeep fee is used to pay for administration, library book upgrades, DVD's, new dive equipment, housekeeping and repair, paint, hot tub maintenance, accounting/legal fees, insurance, diving gear upgrades, fishing gear and equipment, water toys replacement and up grades, vessel upgrades and improvements, satellite telephone, fax, weather fax, Internet, cell phone, copiers, computers, and reserves. As a pre paid vacation package owner you share this cost with other owners. This is why the fee is low. The guaranteed maximum you pay is $150.00 per year for the first three years.

5. "What if I do not pay this annual fee?"
This is one of the only obligations you have in the entire venture. We offer you a great money making opportunity, the chance to cruise for years "free" and even offer a 3 year money back guarantee if you want out.
You have an obligation to pay this small amount once a year. If you do not, we would not be able to honor your week for you or someone else you offered it to until this fee was paid. If it is unpaid for two years in a row, you forfeit your pre-paid vacation package. Should this happen, we will assume you are not happy and refund your money as explained in question 14.

6. "I'm mainly interested in going to exotic places"
You will never be in the same place twice in the next 10 years if you do not want to be. We will have this information in our newsletter and the new web site. We offer adventure, variety, romance, loads of fun, a quality vacation and value for your money. We will start in 1 place in year one and you will be able to travel to every exotic place the world has to offer over the next ten years.

7. "How will we keep in touch?"
We are on the World Wide Web (the Internet) we have our e-mail address on all our literature and will reply to our e-mail daily. In this space age of technology we will have telephones on board as well as a fax machine. Your e- mail will reach us immediately. It will be virtually impossible to avoid us. We will also be offering a monthly newsletter to those that request it. The newsletter is FREE. The newsletter will offer the reader upcoming travel deals, special bookings, changes in our itinerary, recipes, photos, and more. At the present time you may contact me at any of the following;

8. "I am interested in diving."
We will have state of the art dive equipment. Our dive compressors are "super quiet" so the other guests can still talk while tanks are being filled. There are at least two tanks for each diver so you always have a full tank for your next dive. We are offering up to 22 dives per week. See Kastaway Island’s Water Sports Rental Page). Several dive tenders to get you out to different sites and a great team of dive masters and Instructors. If you would like to take an introductory lesson or a refresher course, both of these are listed on the Water Sports Rental Page! If it has been a long time since you have certified you may want to "brush up" on your underwater skills. If you wish to use your week to become a certified diver, please let us know ahead of time. We allow up to a maximum of 6 people per class. Check out our page "So all you want to do is dive, eh?"

9. "I see a romantic cruise as the perfect way to have fun while meeting the person of my dreams."
You're right! "Kastaway Island" is the ultimate fun ship for adventurers, lovers and for those that just want to relax. We offer honeymoon packages (see Honeymoon Registry). Romantic moonlit times to explore each other again, for the first time. You may meet that special person onboard that shares many of your interests, after all you are both on the same cruise. Our Island is designed for the romantics, the sun lovers and the ocean sports enthusiasts.

10. "I can only get my holidays at certain times, or I like to make my decision to holiday at the last minute. What about me?"
Once you tell us about yourself by filling out our stand by or short notice form and the Islands questionnaire (sent to you after confirmation of your membership) and you are in our database, we will make every effort to accommodate you. If you subscribe to our monthly newsletter you may find many deals or cancellations by others. It stands to reason that rooms book up quickly during peak seasons. If you call a few weeks before Christmas looking to cruise during Christmas, I can only say that you will be disappointed. We will have monthly specials, last minute deals as well as off season rates posted in our monthly newsletter (subscribe). We invite you to call, fax or email us if you just have the urge to get away, perhaps we'll have an opening as someone may have cancelled at the last minute or we have scheduled a singles cruise for single divers. Fill out our stand by or short notice form. Relax. We'll do the rest!

11. "I'm really starting to like this idea, but I know nothing about sailing a boat!"
"Kastaway Island" will have numerous permanent residents (A full time Captain, Engineer, Cooks, Dive Team and crew). They are responsible for the running of the entire vessel. Check out "About the Crew on this Island" in the table of contents, and "About the yacht KASTAWAY ISLAND."

12. "I want to entertain Corporate Clients and work on business deals or offer this week as a corporate incentive or bonus package."

Once you pre purchase your week(s) you may do anything you want with them. Just let us know who is coming in your place and we will treat that person just as if it were you.

If your group, organization or business is planning a getaway, our island offers the mood and opportunity of a neutral setting with a relaxed atmosphere. This is also a great opportunity to send key employees as a corporate or incentive bonus. This experience will long be remembered by everyone involved.

We can provide catered luncheons and dinners as well as audio-visual equipment, access to the World Wide Web, telephone, fax, copiers, digital cameras, rentals, computers, and other services so you can take care of business. Look at our pages of water toys that are available for your pleasure. (rental charges apply.)

No taxis or walking blocks to meetings and you know your people are never far away. Meetings are on a scale that no hotel could match or organize. It’s summer EVERY day!

13. "All of these things sound great to me. I'd like to do both."
You can go adventuring this year, diving the next, then, if you need some money, sell your week on "Kastaway Island" the following year. Perhaps you may want to clinch that "big" corporate deal by entertaining several of your business associates.

You can sell your week or we will sell it for you, and if you do not want it any longer, we will buy it back from you. Could you find a better deal any place else?

14. "What if I change my mind and don't want my pre paid vacation package time any longer?"
That is what makes this pre paid vacation package different from any other. We want happy people and realize this is not for everyone. No resort any place in the world that we know of is offering a three year money back guarantee. We offer the following:
Within the first year (12 months from purchase) If your week was not used, we will offer a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. If one week was used by you and your friend, you will receive a full refund minus your week's charter at the rate of $2,000 per week per person, minus all special bonuses, discounts and the 10% processing fee.
Within the second year (24 months from purchase) If no weeks have been used by you or anyone else in your place we will refund your full amount minus a 10% processing fee for each year. Again, if you have come cruising for two years this will be deducted (at the normal the rate of $2,000 per week per person) and the remainder refunded.

We have allotted only so many units for pre paid vacation packages. We will have a waiting list of people to purchase your week or we will purchase it and place it into weekly charter revenue.

15. "Do I have to send all the money now?"
Great question! No money is requested at this time. You fill out the online membership application. When we receive 200 applications our escrow attorney will contact you and you have 30 days to send in the money. If you do not, your name will be removed. You have nothing to lose. See the (Kastaway Island Online Escrow Service).

All applications over the total of 200 weeks are held for cancelations. If we have a cancellation, number 201 now advances to number 200 and so on. You will be informed about everything we do through our newsletter.

16. "What if the boat goes broke?"
The vessel we are purchasing will be paid for in full with the pre paid vacation package proceeds. There will be no monthly or annual payments owing. If she sinks, is destroyed by a storm or fire, our insurance policy will replace her and your investment will be transferred to the next ship. If we go broke, the vessel is still worth millions. Our lawyers and the yacht broker have been instructed to sell the vessel, pay any outstanding fees and commissions and divide any remaining money between the people that purchased the pre paid holiday packages. (You get all of the benefits, none of the risks). We anticipate that you will invite friends, companions, or associates to join you on this adventure. The more people that you tell about this unique cruise ship, the more successful it will be. It is a win/win for everyone.
